Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Torcida started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Gilesindo Tarapiella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Leon Altares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match, Walmir Pirani sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Olo Uriarte showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, William de Castro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte. Olo Uriarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Valiente Venezian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Uriarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Gilesindo Tarapiella came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cercadinho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartolome Moracia was slow to take the kick. During this time Caaguazu's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Caaguazu's Bartolome Moracia to fire away a dangerous shot which Dong despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dong made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gilesindo Tarapiella sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Bartolome Moracia. 34 minutes into the match, Valiente Venezian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olo Uriarte. Caaguazu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valiente Venezian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. William de Castro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Olo Uriarte came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cercadinho's Valiente Venezian. But to his dismay, Valiente Venezian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Miliano Roza's late challenge caught a Cercadinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miliano Roza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Miliano Roza got a free kick in the 46th minute. If William de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Dong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Valiente Venezian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Uriarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olo Uriarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valiente Venezian in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute Gilesindo Tarapiella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olo Uriarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valiente Venezian in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Cercadinho's Ulf Bergqvist got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th match minute, Cercadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everton Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Roza came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes Cercadinho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bartolome Moracia who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cercadinho eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
