Caaguazu were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Monumento Sports's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartolome Moracia took the corner. Caaguazu's Bartolome Moracia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chaman Do Bonde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chaman Do Bonde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miliano Roza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Caaguazu defense, Lucca Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olo Uriarte. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chaman Do Bonde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Roza in the 31st minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Chaman Do Bonde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miliano Roza got free with Chaman Do Bonde in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Silas de Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monumento Sports's protests and gave Silas de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Silas de Godoi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Bartolome Moracia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chaman Do Bonde skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilesindo Tarapiella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elias Olenberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Henrique Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Olo Uriarte made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Freijo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frederico Freijo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caaguazu's zone, Elias Olenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Torcida might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chaman Do Bonde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Torcida ran back to his position shaking his head.
