The referee showed Damian Diagur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Torcida in the 44th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Olo Uriarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Diagur, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Olo Uriarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Breckenfeld in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Xiong in the 59th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miliano Roza might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Vito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miliano Roza ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Benigno Elija put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olo Uriarte. The crowd rose to their feet as Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Benigno Elija slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olo Uriarte. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play.
