The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tobiasz Blicharz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shen Yi Yuan having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Carlsson in the 4th minute of play forced Gumisie Rybnik's goalkeeper Miromir Pazura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shen Yi Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Pilarczyk in the 5th minute of play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Augusto Stephen from a close distance when the talented Miromir Pazura managed to make a qualified save. Gumisie Rybnik's players were relieved. 19 minutes into the match, Gumisie Rybnik's goalkeeper Miromir Pazura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Stephen. Gumisie Rybnik's Ksawery Pilarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ksawery Pilarczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ksawery Pilarczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gumisie Rybnik getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ksawery Pilarczyk hit a great ball. If Augusto Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Zeca Carneiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gumisie Rybnik's goalie prevented a goal. Augusto Stephen fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 43rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Gilvan Paes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Borys Banach made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ksawery Pilarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miromir Pazura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Stephen in the 55th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gumisie Rybnik's goalie and right to Zeca Carneiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gumisie Rybnik's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Abelardo Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Augusto Stephen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Borys Banach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gumisie Rybnik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Shen Yi Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Banach in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miromir Pazura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match Goblins F.C. got a corner. Gumisie Rybnik's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Stephen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Goblins F.C.'s corner Abelardo Pitta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miromir Pazura quite easily take care of the ball. In the 86th minute, Gilvan Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match, Borys Banach tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Shen Yi Yuan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gumisie Rybnik's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
