Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serdar Gulson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loïc Payen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 6th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Seyidäli Cāburgs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Loïc Payen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Abraham Pflaumenbaum got a free kick in the 20th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Serdar Gulson came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the FC Lëtzebuerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serdar Gulson couldn't finish the play. FC Lëtzebuerg's Abraham Pflaumenbaum got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Abraham Pflaumenbaum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Abraham Pflaumenbaum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 minutes of play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Loïc Payen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serdar Gulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Loïc Payen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loïc Payen was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-3. Serdar Gulson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Serdar Gulson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 71st match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Tudor to maneuver through the defense. Loïc Payen was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Cirilo Izotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serdar Gulson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute of the match FC Lëtzebuerg got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Severo Damario ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 91 minutes, Serdar Gulson made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
