In the 7th minute Ahmet Bülent Uygan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ahmet Nedim Peyami took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. 13 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cihan Kabil. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Cihan Kabil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Abram Luque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Ali Akatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kutalp Hatemoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Kuzey FK's Neşat Türker was substituted for Esat Yalazabey. The supporters of Kuzey FK booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Cihan Kabil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
