Thanks to some nice moves Teobaldo Ubarna could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 39th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Rolando Noboa, was totally fooled by El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 45th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luz Tejedor to make the kick off. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Lucas Cresconio made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. In the 60th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomas Snow saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Guillermo Solustiano was substituted for Leandro Laurentzi. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Ádám Páncsics was substituted for Nunez Maurin. In the 82nd minute, Ádám Páncsics left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Renacer del Quijano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The throw-in from Guillermo Solustiano in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ádám Páncsics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ádám Páncsics, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 90th minute of play. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but El Renacer del Quijano FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
