The crowd rose to their feet as Goral Zywiec's Gao Wei Fei slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Michael Krawczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gao Wei Fei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Wei Fei came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 38th minute, Santino Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Krawczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 46th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Krawczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. After the first half Colombia were leading 3-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joshua Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gao Wei Fei went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. If Jaroslaw Garusov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gao Wei Fei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Goral Zywiec's Gao Wei Fei made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute Beniamin Zarobski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Goral Zywiec's Jaroslaw Garusov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Garrido in the 67 minute of the game. Fariz Nair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goral Zywiec's Gilbert Glogowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 70th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Fariz Nair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fariz Nair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. In the 79th minute, Fariz Nair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goral Zywiec's attentive Gilbert Glogowski managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. Wincent Drugi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Fariz Nair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Mastache in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Krawczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fariz Nair went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-4 was the resulting score. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
