Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hristo Stoichkov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Stoichkov came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Hristo Stoichkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Luque in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Hristo Stoichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Athletico Picapedrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Klewinski to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Cazalla charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Juanito Gabucio from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Dante Lacasa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hristo Stoichkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play forced Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 29th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hristo Stoichkov in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesus Sayveon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon. Jesus Sayveon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Uria in the 39th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Athletico Picapedrense's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jesus Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hristo Stoichkov's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Lorenzo Jubera replaced Horaţiu Crăiță. Athletico Picapedrense's Orlondo Aguado was substituted for Zenon Klewinski. Hristo Stoichkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hristo Stoichkov ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Stoichkov came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Hristo Stoichkov made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jesus Sayveon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Eloi Fontanella replaced Hristo Stoichkov. Orlondo Aguado hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jesus Sayveon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 66th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloi Fontanella went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloi Fontanella in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Orlondo Aguado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Eloi Fontanella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloi Fontanella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Orlondo Aguado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Athletico Picapedrense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Athletico Picapedrense were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
