Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 89th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Peru's Yu Han Xing threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Gallo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yu Han Xing came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 94th minute. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
