The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Rzeszutek in the 14th minute of play. After 20 played minutes MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Teo Škarpa. In the 23rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. If Damian Rzeszutek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Rzeszutek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teo Škarpa was slow to take the kick. During this time MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Teo Škarpa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 35 minutes into the match, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Napoleon Mocko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Teo Škarpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Škarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Napoleon Mocko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Antonis Sapanis was substituted for Teo Škarpa. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Dejo in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Mocko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Konstanty Dejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstanty Dejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Mocko was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Cristian Sancho sped through MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Napoleon Mocko. 71 minutes into the match, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Napoleon Mocko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Napoleon Mocko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Konstanty Dejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Dejo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
