After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Sebastián Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavaliers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Sebastián Villa scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Sebastián Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofilo Mikeldi took the corner. In the 26th minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Villa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavaliers FC. In the 32nd minute, Sebastián Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 37 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Villa came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Ocampo lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 40th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Sebastián Villa:s penalty. After 42 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Sebastián Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastián Villa went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

51 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Teofilo Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Villa in the 69th minute of the match. Sebastián Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Marcos Monsanto's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Monsanto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Cavaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Etor to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Villa during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Damian Jordy kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Cavaliers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
