Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Semeghin in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Sângeorzan. In the 20th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 22nd minute of the match. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Seguinus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Seguinus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Seguinus. Rosendo Seguinus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa. But to his dismay, Aron Zgrăbunţa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eduard Semeghin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 47th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Semeghin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 65 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Victor Huștiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Rosendo Seguinus in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Felix Vărzaru fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Felix Vărzaru a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Rosendo Seguinus in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Semeghin in the 87th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Rosendo Seguinus threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 92nd minute, Felix Vărzaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ASF BAIA MARE -MM-.
