A wasted opportunity for bullfinches. 15 minutes into the game, Alex Jula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. bullfinches's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Uruguay made a substitution. Lucho Andrade replaced Arturo Carvallo. Alex Jula hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes bullfinches got a freekick which was hit by Petru Văidianu. Aristide Crivac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when bullfinches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Banica didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when bullfinches's Alex Jula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 46th minute of play forced bullfinches's goalkeeper Aristide Crivac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Alex Jula made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Crivac having to interfere. Aristide Crivac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Zubaşcu in the 67th minute of play. Aristide Crivac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Alex Jula put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. 75 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Jula came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the bullfinches defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Crivac. The bullfinches fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Crivac should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Liviu Zubaşcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Jula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Jula came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Uruguay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than bullfinches.
