Alex Svanberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Svanberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alex Svanberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Hallands Riviera's Igor Daim got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 25th minute, Valter Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hallands Riviera getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lance Carey hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Svanberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the game Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo played forward. Ivan Malmgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Hallands Riviera made a substitution. Kent Browall replaced Valter Berglund. Hallands Riviera's George Alkvist was substituted for Kong Feng. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Alkvist made a kick off. Alex Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kent Browall took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hallands Riviera's Kent Browall got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when George Alkvist came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, George Alkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Alex Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Browall, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Hallands Riviera's Adnan Kultigin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hallands Riviera reached it. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Browall in the 83rd minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lance Carey hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the game, Kent Browall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Hallands Riviera had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
