Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zosimo Mayor got the match started through his kick off. When Januario Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bewdley's protests and gave Januario Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Madrid de Guatemala booed when Bewdley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Januario Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Januario Guerra was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Januario Guerra hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Kang Zheng Qing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Sifon went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bewdley's Kang Zheng Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Vasquez in the 26th minute of play. If Mario Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Santamaria's late challenge caught a Bewdley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Santamaria helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Cristian Santamaria got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Carmelo Sifon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid de Guatemala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Sifon was the one to do the kick off. Kang Zheng Qing made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Mario Vasquez sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Sifon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bewdley made a substitution. Ulrik Vacker replaced Raúl Cardozo. Kang Zheng Qing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Santamaria's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Bewdley getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Americo Bastia hit a great ball. The long shot by Angel Botello in the 65th minute really tested Kang Zheng Qing's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Bewdley's Kang Zheng Qing got control of the ball when Mario Vasquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bewdley's Americo Bastia got a free kick in the 70th minute. Kang Zheng Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Santamaria in the 74th minute of play forced Bewdley's goalkeeper Kang Zheng Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Orlandus hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Bewdley's goalkeeper Kang Zheng Qing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Vasquez. Kang Zheng Qing made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Angel Botello sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Bewdley's goalkeeper Kang Zheng Qing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Sifon. Bewdley's Kang Zheng Qing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Bewdley from getting a goal against them. Ulrik Vacker hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Carmelo Sifon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kang Zheng Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Bewdley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Trzaskoma to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Guerrero in the 98th minute of play forced Bewdley's goalkeeper Kang Zheng Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Madrid de Guatemala's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
