Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Di Röe's Sten Melberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Felix Luque in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Di Röe's Leif Svanström. Sten Melberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Berg. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Melberg in the 22nd minute of the match. George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. George Kristiansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Felix Luque made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lautaro Mancebo immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Kristiansson saved Di Röe from getting behind. After 40 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Bedih Rafet. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Di Röe the free kick. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Di Röe's Sten Melberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Sten Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Sten Melberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of George Kristiansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bedih Rafet hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Di Röe made a substitution. Romeo Gologan replaced Sten Melberg. Di Röe made a substitution. Knut Engström replaced Elliot Kellbom. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Bedih Rafet got a free kick in the 67th minute. George Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Di Röe's Romeo Gologan. But to his dismay, Romeo Gologan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Romeo Gologan took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With a little luck, Di Röe's George Kristiansson got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Di Röe had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
