In the 9thth minute of the game Giovanni Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Giovanni Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Kordal Duff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Ufki having to interfere. When Legion of Boom's Chiquinho Vargas in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jamaica's goalie prevented a goal. Giovanni Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Jamaica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chiquinho Vargas 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 31st minute, Luisito Suárez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Demonde Jacobson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Giovanni Alagoano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Ufki having to interfere. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Suárez to strike the kick off in the second half. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Suárez in the 54th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Abdi Ufki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luisito Suárez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demonde Jacobson was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
