With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iordache Donici in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Deng Kun Xu got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deng Kun Xu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Herminio Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Iordache Donici tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Camilo Gaos put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L:s goal. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for C Ａ R D I N Ａ L. Herminio Vincente stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. Yang Ming Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 35th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yang Ming Ran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Jean-Jacques Ares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordache Donici got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Horea Vrejiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Horea Vrejiu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Kun Xu in the 50th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Horea Vrejiu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Kun Xu in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C Ａ R D I N Ａ L the free kick. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Vincente might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herminio Vincente ran back to his position shaking his head. Cazimir Bărbătescu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C Ａ R D I N Ａ L. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Tăcutu to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yang Ming Ran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cezar Rizea's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezar Rizea helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Patricio Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yang Ming Ran. That made the score 5-2 after 86 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Vincente in the 89th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
