Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Escocia's Jonas Tauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Oroitz in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Caponi in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Jonas Tauro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 33rd match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Tello to maneuver through the defense. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Justin Tello hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri, 3-1. Club Atlético Escocia's Filiberto Tolino was substituted for Fergus León. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Tauro in the 72nd minute of play. Anastasio Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonas Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Caponi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Rigoberto Mina put in a rough tackle. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Escocia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
