The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Musztarda Diżą's Ragnar Lönn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cosimo Rocchi took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Cosimo Rocchi lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Marco Day. In the 19th minute, Cassius Byrne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roch Kempka was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Cosimo Rocchi sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roch Kempka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 23rd minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Rocchi in the 24th minute of play. Remigiusz Anszczak hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Musztarda Diżą's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Roch Kempka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. Cosimo Rocchi might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Rocchi ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Rocchi in the 45th minute of play. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Kempka having to interfere.

Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cassius Byrne took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Roch Kempka to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play forced Musztarda Diżą's goalkeeper Roch Kempka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roch Kempka saved Musztarda Diżą from getting behind. When USA's Monty Rogers in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Musztarda Diżą's goalie prevented a goal. Musztarda Diżą made a substitution. Radomil Charlos replaced Aloísio Senna. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 69th minute of the match USA got a corner. Musztarda Diżą's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Monty Rogers ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Musztarda Diżą's Cosimo Rocchi in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Borys Palzewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. The supporters of USA booed when Musztarda Diżą was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Palzewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Khalid Parry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 86 played minutes Musztarda Diżą got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Șerbulescu. Roch Kempka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Musztarda Diżą's Borys Palzewicz got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Kempka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Baker came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roch Kempka could save by the left post. Roch Kempka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of play. The Musztarda Diżą fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
