In the 17thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Betão Veiga made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luz Tejedor. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Incendio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense.
