With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Davison saved Sportivo Luan Toro from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Davison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Sergius Ramus made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Olli Fiedler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Luan Toro's supporters rose to their feet, but Olli Fiedler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 minutes of play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olli Fiedler was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olli Fiedler went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Martins Palermo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martins Palermo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Ignacio Mastache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, Sportivo Luan Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Tabor to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
