Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Kärim Benzine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Berni y Benja FC's Pastor Tino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pastor Tino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Berni y Benja FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pastor Tino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amancio Videl. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Videl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amancio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Olle Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Roman Hibai hit a great ball. Amancio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Amancio Videl came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Kärim Benzine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Amancio Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Kärim Benzine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Berni y Benja FC's Amancio Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Berni y Benja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Hats to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kärim Benzine was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Berni y Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Curcio. After 53 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amancio Videl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. If Kärim Benzine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berni y Benja FC's Amancio Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Berni y Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Gaspar Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Berni y Benja FC's Gaspar Curcio got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Norberto Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ecuador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ecuador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
