The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bertrand Glass had several of the Curacao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Bruno Barrett as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertrand Glass in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the game, Fly T.T's Bertrand Glass nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Smitt in the 31st minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertrand Glass did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Bruno Barrett 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Vadim Shiryaev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 38 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Smitt came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fly T.T's Franciszek Kopacz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 6-0 after 40 minutes of play. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Vergaray in the 43rd minute of the match. Bertrand Glass recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertrand Glass made a kick off. Vadim Shiryaev took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Bertrand Glass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Kopacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Troy Kennedy fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Troy Kennedy a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fly T.T's Bertrand Glass shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 65 minutes into the game, Fly T.T's Vadim Shiryaev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Bertie Johnson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Bertrand Glass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jan Smitt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Jan Smitt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Jan Smitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertrand Glass scored 12-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Charles Cox got a free kick in the 95th minute.
