An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced Moose Knuckles's goalkeeper Li Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Li Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. Moose Knuckles's Li Lin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 7th minute of play. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Beninda in the 34th minute of play. Li Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Li Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Moose Knuckles's Li Lin did a great save. In the 42nd minute, Aloyzas Valys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 minutes, Sonic Ball mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moose Knuckles and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aloyzas Valys was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Li Lin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Li Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Li Lin made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Vecdet Baştürk came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Li Lin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moose Knuckles's Jaunius Balčaitis was substituted for Aloyzas Valys. In the 78th minute Vecdet Baştürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdet Baştürk in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Moose Knuckles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardas Eidintas to maneuver through the defense. Li Lin made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Vecdet Baştürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Moose Knuckles's Vecdet Baştürk. But to his dismay, Vecdet Baştürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Li Lin made a huge save. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Moose Knuckles's Vecdet Baştürk. But to his dismay, Vecdet Baştürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Moose Knuckles could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
