The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th match minute, Jordan F1 91-05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Lindkvist to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jordan F1 91-05 the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Jordan F1 91-05's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nazeer Mhlathe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 21 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's Nazeer Mhlathe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jordan F1 91-05 were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nazeer Mhlathe took the corner. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Ola Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. The Jordan F1 91-05 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ola Boström should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isak Karnerud. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Boström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Celil Sahir kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ola Boström. Jordan F1 91-05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Karnerud came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Andino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jens-Ola Boström. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. Jordan F1 91-05 made a substitution. Szczepan Szablewski replaced Gustaf Lindkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play forced Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Boström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ola Boström came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Jens-Ola Boström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guo Gang Yan in the 91st minute of the match. Jordan F1 91-05 were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isak Karnerud took the corner. The corner ended in Isak Karnerud almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save.
