Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Mino in the 5th minute. Suibhne Ghee kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tama's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Felipe Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The corner led Tama's Tiburcio Honrio to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Mino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Mino in the 33rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Mino in the 42nd minute of the match. When Suibhne Ghee came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suibhne Ghee couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Mino was the one to do the kick off. Felipe Mino scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Mateo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Mateo Medardo made a huge save. After 64 minutes of play, Tama's Felipe Mino made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Beldad. After a defensive mix-up in Tama's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Medardo came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tama's Simon Ferran was substituted for Suibhne Ghee. Tama's Marco Santiago was substituted for Joel Guerau. Tama's Casimiro Valiente was substituted for Ovidio Fonda. In the 77thth minute of the game Felipe Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 79th minute of play forced Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tama getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tiburcio Honrio hit a great ball. With his leg Mateo Medardo managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Honrio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Mateo Medardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tama.
