Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Penang Island's Jonas Salk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of play. Jonas Salk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 13th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bulek Idris sent off a good shot on target. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penang Island the free kick. Joko Febrian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Bulek Idris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abraham Alguacil came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonas Salk could save by the left post. Ade Prima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Bulek Idris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penang Island fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 68 minutes into the game, Felipe Ros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 83 played minutes Isidoro Sarmiento rounded Penang Island's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Penang Island's Joko Febrian got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Penang Island fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
