Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Penang Island were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joko Febrian took the corner. When Bulek Idris came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Penang Island fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bulek Idris couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Penang Island's Bulek Idris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 18 played minutes Penang Island got a freekick which was hit by Gendo Waluyo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 19th minute of play forced Penang Island's goalkeeper Jonas Salk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ade Prima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penang Island's supporters rose to their feet, but Ade Prima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Bulek Idris made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Bulek Idris came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Penang Island fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bulek Idris couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Penang Island's Bulek Idris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Jonas Salk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 36th minute of the match. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 37th minute. Djati Simamora succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Djati Simamora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penang Island's supporters rose to their feet, but Djati Simamora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Bulek Idris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Djati Simamora was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Sipiongot Budikusuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Penang Island's Joko Febrian. Ade Prima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Jonas Salk was a little too slow when Axel Tasis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 6-1. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Penang Island got a freekick which was hit by Ade Prima. 66 minutes into the match, Penang Island's Bulek Idris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bulek Idris in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joko Febrian who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Penang Island's Joko Febrian to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Penang Island's Bulek Idris got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Bulek Idris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Djati Simamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bulek Idris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. After 80 minutes, Bulek Idris made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djati Simamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joko Febrian who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Budi Aswin advanced and headed the ball into goal, 8-1 in the 86th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bulek Idris in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Ade Prima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Penang Island's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
