Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Seber in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Club Atletico Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Padro to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Seber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anders Larsson could save by the left post. With his leg Anders Larsson managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Fenix's Eskil Åkesson was substituted for Cecilio Seber. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Club Atletico Fenix's Ezequiel Padro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Anders Larsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Club Atletico Fenix supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
