NewGate FC's Nilmar de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Blattner in the 10th minute of play. Ruy Rosado's late challenge caught a SG Frimmersdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. Ruy Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jan Mühlfenzl might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilmar de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Mühlfenzl ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Severin Presser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SG Frimmersdorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NewGate FC the free kick. Severin Presser hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SG Frimmersdorf's Roger Döhler got a free kick in the 19th minute. Nilmar de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Mühlfenzl went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as José Maria Pitta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pascal Röttgen. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Charles Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascal Röttgen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Severin Presser was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 35 played minutes SG Frimmersdorf got a freekick which was hit by Severin Presser. Benê Furlan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pascal Röttgen. SG Frimmersdorf's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wolfgang Mikulasch struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Nilmar de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Frimmersdorf. In the 39th minute, José Maria Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascal Röttgen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 44 played minutes, SG Frimmersdorf's Johannes Rehnen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilmar de Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SG Frimmersdorf reached it. In the 45th minute, José Maria Pitta made a precise shot to the right of Pascal Röttgen. SG Frimmersdorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Maria Pitta made a kick off. Michel Furlan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match José Maria Furtado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascal Röttgen skillfully saved the ball. The NewGate FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when NewGate FC's José Maria Pitta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to NewGate FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sidney Nogueira hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Michel Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. NewGate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascal Röttgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolfgang Mikulasch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Nilmar de Almeida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Charles Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Röttgen having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Michel Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NewGate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Pitta in the 85th minute of play forced SG Frimmersdorf's goalkeeper Pascal Röttgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Wolfgang Mikulasch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Santos in the 95th minute of play forced SG Frimmersdorf's goalkeeper Pascal Röttgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the NewGate FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
