The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Mühlfenzl got free with Sungur Şennur in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SG Frimmersdorf's Severin Presser got a free kick in the 15th minute. With his leg Sungur Şennur managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when SG Frimmersdorf's Jan Mühlfenzl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in SG Frimmersdorf's zone, Mert Balkoç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Röttgen came out of the goal and Mert Balkoç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, SG Frimmersdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Mert Balkoç came free, but Pascal Röttgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Lovis Gercke took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sungur Şennur to make any attempt to save it. After 30 played minutes DENİZOVA SK got a freekick which was hit by Sadri Zeyni. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Mühlfenzl got free with Sungur Şennur in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd match minute, DENİZOVA SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamdullah Seralp to maneuver through the defense. Tayyip Afgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lovis Gercke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes DENİZOVA SK got a freekick which was hit by Mürsel Mehmet. Jan Mühlfenzl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sungur Şennur having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, SG Frimmersdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Waldemann to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Mürsel Mehmet fired a really elegant long shot, but Pascal Röttgen threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Sungur Şennur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Mühlfenzl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SG Frimmersdorf fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when SG Frimmersdorf's Lovis Gercke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th minute, Mert Balkoç reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascal Röttgen. The goal made the score 2-1. 68 minutes into the match, DENİZOVA SK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Mühlfenzl came free, but Sungur Şennur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lovis Gercke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sungur Şennur was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mert Balkoç in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascal Röttgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, SG Frimmersdorf's Lovis Gercke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sungur Şennur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tayyip Afgan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Pascal Röttgen made a huge save. Jan Mühlfenzl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sungur Şennur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Lovis Gercke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG Frimmersdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lovis Gercke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SG Frimmersdorf were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DENİZOVA SK for a fine match.
