Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Agnaldo da Mata got the match started through his kick off. Mauro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Valderrama having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Xalvador Cuadrado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 minutes, Evaristo Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tranqueras AFC and the Pirenopolis AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evaristo Matos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tranqueras AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Maximiliano Urbina hit a great ball. Laureano Valderrama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Mauro Figueiredo in the 28thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Laureano Valderrama had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Munio Folgoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Matos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes of play, Pirenopolis AD's Mauro Figueiredo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Valderrama was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tranqueras AFC's goalkeeper Laureano Valderrama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pirenopolis AD's Agnaldo da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pirenopolis AD booed when Tranqueras AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palban Bodes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Agnaldo da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pirenopolis AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agnaldo da Mata couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Tranqueras AFC's Laureano Valderrama got control of the ball when Mauro Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mauro Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Munio Folgoso made a kick off. Pirenopolis AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Munio Folgoso scored to the left of an out of position Valdir Sabóia, making the score, 1-1. Laureano Valderrama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo da Mata in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Palban Bodes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Matos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Pirenopolis AD's Mauro Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Valderrama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laureano Valderrama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo da Mata in the 70th minute of the match. The Tranqueras AFC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Tranqueras AFC's Xalvador Cuadrado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xalvador Cuadrado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Agnaldo da Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Valderrama. Tranqueras AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agnaldo da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Valdir Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munio Folgoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Palban Bodes's late challenge caught a Pirenopolis AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palban Bodes helped the player get up and apologised. Palban Bodes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Pirenopolis AD's Charles Santos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tranqueras AFC. Munio Folgoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdir Sabóia having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
