Valdir Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Henric, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agnaldo da Mata in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Satordi saved Belgrano AFC from getting behind. 5 minutes into the match, Pirenopolis AD's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Henric came free, but Valdir Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes, Cecilio Orixe made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pirenopolis AD's Valdir Sabóia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pirenopolis AD's Valdir Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Henric in the 11th minute of play. If Mauro Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Benê de Godoi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Belgrano AFC's Filiberto Satordi. Filiberto Satordi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Pirenopolis AD's Agnaldo da Mata in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgrano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Rolado during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute of the match Charles Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Satordi skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pirenopolis AD's zone, Santiago Henric stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Sabóia came out of the goal and Santiago Henric tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Henric in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano AFC's zone, Mauro Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Satordi came out of the goal and Mauro Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agnaldo da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Pirenopolis AD's Agnaldo da Mata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiberto Satordi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filiberto Satordi made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mauro Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Mauro Figueiredo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Valdir Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Rolado in the 56th minute of play. Cecilio Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Sabóia having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Nilmar de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Jacob, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Agnaldo da Mata hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pirenopolis AD booed when Belgrano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Balesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Sabóia having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Belgrano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Henric to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo da Mata in the 90th minute of play. Mauro Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
