Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basarab Panduru. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Chioreanu in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Horia Chioreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 12 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Horia Chioreanu. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucrețiu Sfetcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Călin Boieraș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 33rd minute, Basarab Panduru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-1. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Horia Chioreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucrețiu Sfetcu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Lucrețiu Sfetcu to make any attempt to save it. Basarab Panduru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Costin Malcoci replaced Horia Chioreanu. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leonard Floricel hit a great ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Floricel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Lucrețiu Sfetcu in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ejvind Kirkemand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Adrian Nasta was substituted for Basarab Panduru. When Ejvind Kirkemand fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's protests and gave Ejvind Kirkemand a yellow card for diving instead. Ejvind Kirkemand kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Adrian Nasta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
