An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 28th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur Bufi.
