Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Mihkel Aksalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihkel Aksalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihkel Aksalu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 11th minute. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mihkel Aksalu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 13th minute, Gao Kun Ling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dep. Moron's Mihkel Aksalu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Dep. Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gao Kun Ling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihkel Aksalu having to interfere. The supporters of Dep. Moron booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihkel Aksalu having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the game, Josepe Zabalo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Dep. Moron booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Dep. Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Dep. Moron's Nacho Hernández to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 42 in the game by Nacho Hernández from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nacho Hernández stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Kun Ling in the 50th minute of play. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Merrill Hancock was slow to take the kick. During this time Dep. Moron's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Enzo-Nicolás Fernandez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 55th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mihkel Aksalu made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihkel Aksalu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihkel Aksalu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Dep. Moron's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Josepe Zabalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Dep. Moron's Mihkel Aksalu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josepe Zabalo in the 78th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Hernández in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 82nd minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mihkel Aksalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihkel Aksalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Dep. Moron's Mihkel Aksalu got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dep. Moron had won after a very even match.
