Cleto Eder kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Guillerme came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 65th minute Eibar 09-12-18 were awarded a corner. Marcelino Oxarra went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Paraguay's goalie and right to Leal Caeiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Paraguay's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 74th minute, Boğaçhan Arıkhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Campos was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. Anacleto Guillerme took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Anacleto Guillerme scored 6-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Eibar 09-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boğaçhan Arıkhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eibar 09-12-18's Anacleto Guillerme got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Guillerme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Alfred Velez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
