Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 4th minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Dagoberto Neila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Herminio Iratze came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Iratze couldn't finish the play. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Neila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Neila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Dagoberto Neila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Meng Qiang Liang came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meng Qiang Liang couldn't finish the play. After 27 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. 31 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Herminio Iratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Dagoberto Neila slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. After 39 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Neila in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dagoberto Neila went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute Herminio Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Orlan in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Dagoberto Neila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Neila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Dagoberto Neila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Dagoberto Neila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the match, Meng Qiang Liang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meng Qiang Liang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After 91st play minutes Dagoberto Neila shot 11-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. INDEPENDIENTE F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
