Chile's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 56th minute of the game, when Mariano Lacasa after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goal. Mariano Lacasa was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Vonortas in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Vonortas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
