Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artaç Hendekli hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Venezuela booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Domin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of the match. STAL ST WOLA's Michel Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, STAL ST WOLA's Zygmunt Bielejewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Michel Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 20th minute of play. When Artaç Hendekli came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the STAL ST WOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artaç Hendekli couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Zygmunt Bielejewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Batistuta got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zygmunt Bielejewski struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STAL ST WOLA. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Bielejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in STAL ST WOLA's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Matai came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zygmunt Bielejewski was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Bielejewski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Batistuta succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes of play, STAL ST WOLA's Zygmunt Bielejewski made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Batistuta in the 72nd minute of the match. If Artaç Hendekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Michel Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Zygmunt Bielejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaw Bendyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. STAL ST WOLA's Mikolaj Lech was substituted for Zygmunt Bielejewski. The supporters of Venezuela booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Nakoneczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikolaj Lech's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. STAL ST WOLA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
