Zamalek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave América-SC F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lloyd Warren hit a great ball. Ricardo Wong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Washington Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Ricardo Wong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Bezerra in the 31st minute of the match. Ricardo Wong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Bezerra in the 33rd minute of play. Tuan Glover kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Washington Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Wong. Zamalek FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Henrique was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, América-SC F.C.'s Ricardo Wong threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonel Guedes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 53 minutes in the game, Luís Henrique fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ricardo Wong having to interfere. Washington Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Pitta scored 0-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Wong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Neal. After having played for 58 minutes, Washington Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. América-SC F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Washington Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ricardo Wong made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Ciauri during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Otto Ciauri hit a great ball. When Luís Henrique came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the América-SC F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Henrique couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Wong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Henrique in the 65th minute of the match. If Luiz Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Guedes took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Wong. Ricardo Wong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, América-SC F.C.'s Washington Bezerra got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Washington Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lloyd Warren got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th minute, Lloyd Warren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Henrique kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Wong. That made the score 0-6 in the 80 minute of play. Luís Henrique succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. In the 92nd minute, Luís Henrique made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Wong. Zamalek FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Ricardo Wong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Pitta in the 95th minute of the match.
