Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Modesto Ieltxu got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Washington Bezerra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bairoletto FC's Candido Lehior. Candido Lehior was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacindo Guztros. Luizinho Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Candido Lehior. Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Candido Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Henrique in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to América-SC F.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alfredo Secco hit a great ball. Gaston Roderigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Tajo in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bairoletto FC's zone, Luís Henrique stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Lehior came out of the goal and Luís Henrique tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Ieltxu in the 32nd minute of the match. Luiz Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Lehior having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Velasco. 37 minutes into the match, Leonel Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Lehior. Bairoletto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luiz Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Luiz Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gaston Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Eliézer Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Henrique made a kick off. Placido Maties's late challenge caught a América-SC F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Maties helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Placido Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Lehior came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by América-SC F.C.'s Luís Henrique. But to his dismay, Luís Henrique quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 58 minutes into the game, Luizinho Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. América-SC F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bairoletto FC the free kick. The supporters of Bairoletto FC booed when América-SC F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Gaston Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bairoletto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Alfredão Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Candido Lehior, making the score, 1-4. Candido Lehior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Bezerra in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Bairoletto FC's Candido Lehior got control of the ball when Luiz Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Nereo Norino put in a rough tackle. In the 71st minute of the game, América-SC F.C. got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Montenegro in the 75th minute of play forced Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Candido Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Modesto Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Lehior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Bezerra in the 84th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Candido Lehior successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 98th minute Alfredão Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. América-SC F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
