In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind StraX Xenon FC's goalkeeper Georg Åkerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in StraX Xenon FC's zone, Frederico Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Åkerberg came out of the goal and Frederico Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When João Freire came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the BRASIL.Sp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Freire couldn't finish the play. Georg Åkerberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Freire went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, StraX Xenon FC's Martin Ahlin got a free kick in the 11th minute. João Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Åkerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Karl-Erik Häger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ubaldo Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Kjellbom hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When João Freire fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRASIL.Sp's protests and gave João Freire a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's João Freire got a free kick in the 25th minute. Martin Ahlin charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Ahlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. BRASIL.Sp's Breno Sá was substituted for Dalmo de Barros. Martin Ahlin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, João Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Åkerberg. StraX Xenon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Georg Åkerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Freire in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute João Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Jansson in the 41st minute of the match. Malcolm Melander's late challenge caught a BRASIL.Sp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Melander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when StraX Xenon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Melander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, BRASIL.Sp's Júnior Cerezo tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. StraX Xenon FC's Georg Åkerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Freire in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Jansson was the one to do the kick off. Raphael Paes's late challenge caught a StraX Xenon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Paes helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Paes. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, João Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Georg Åkerberg. João Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 67 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's Frederico Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georg Åkerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. BRASIL.Sp's João Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georg Åkerberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Breno Sá showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 72 minute of play. After 76 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Paes. After having played for 78 minutes, Frederico Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASIL.Sp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, João Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRASIL.Sp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Georg Åkerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Åkerberg having to interfere. After some careless play in the StraX Xenon FC defense, Frederico Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georg Åkerberg. The StraX Xenon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georg Åkerberg should have stopped the shot. The StraX Xenon FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BRASIL.Sp were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
