In the 7th minute, Iman Raweyai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merlin Dolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 9th minute Iman Raweyai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Dolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merlin Dolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ridho Mangkulangit's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 11 minutes, Ridho Mangkulangit made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Merlin Dolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ridho Mangkulangit's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Ridho Mangkulangit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Merlin Dolan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, Rozy Panggabean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool Fans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zamalek FC the free kick. After 22 played minutes Liverpool Fans got a freekick which was hit by Rozy Panggabean. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Will Holt in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zein Mahayasa saved Liverpool Fans from getting behind. Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iman Raweyai in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Dolan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Iman Raweyai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merlin Dolan was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Iman Raweyai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Iman Raweyai made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ridho Mangkulangit in the 51st minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Merlin Dolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liverpool Fans's Iman Raweyai got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merlin Dolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iman Raweyai in the 58th minute of the match. Ridho Mangkulangit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Merlin Dolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek FC's zone, Ridho Mangkulangit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merlin Dolan came out of the goal and Ridho Mangkulangit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Zamalek FC defense, Iman Raweyai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merlin Dolan. The Zamalek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merlin Dolan should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Ridho Mangkulangit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merlin Dolan came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool Fans's Ridho Mangkulangit. But to his dismay, Ridho Mangkulangit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Nana Arwana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nana Arwana in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Iman Raweyai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool Fans's supporters rose to their feet, but Iman Raweyai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Dolan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Merlin Dolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rozy Panggabean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iman Raweyai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liverpool Fans fully deserved thier win.
