Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zamalek FC's Sergey Krasinskiy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomero Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chunche Montero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Eutor's late challenge caught a Zamalek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Eutor helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldo Eutor hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Santhiagos Feli Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Balaeț came free, but Baldomero Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daron Joseph in the 21st minute of play forced Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Krasinskiy in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Lordi during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Santhiagos Feli Club got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Lordi. When Daron Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Zamalek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daron Joseph couldn't finish the play. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Krasinskiy in the 31st minute of play. Sergey Krasinskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Baldomero Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chunche Montero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chunche Montero took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Urbasa. Baldomero Urbasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 45 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Davis Duff. After the first half Zamalek FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daron Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Baldomero Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Santhiagos Feli Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Clemente Mitxel hit a great ball. Diogo Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Chunche Montero sent off a good shot on target. Daron Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Santhiagos Feli Club booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergey Krasinskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Santhiagos Feli Club getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Adolfo Argider hit a great ball. If Sergey Krasinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daron Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daron Joseph. Baldomero Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daron Joseph sent off a good shot on target. Daron Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Santhiagos Feli Club from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Daron Joseph dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baldomero Urbasa, 0-2. Daron Joseph's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Baldomero Urbasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chunche Montero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Baldomero Urbasa made a huge save. Severo Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Sergey Krasinskiy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Urbasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Daron Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Urbasa having to interfere.
