In the 5thth minute of the game Tytus Banaszak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 苍穹拓荒者队's 毛迅明 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 毛迅明 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reese Otto in the 8th minute of play. 毛迅明 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Balaeț, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, 苍穹拓荒者队's 钱战伟 got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Davis Duff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 毛迅明 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 毛迅明 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Banaszak in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the 苍穹拓荒者队 defense, Mugurel Balaeț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 毛迅明. The 苍穹拓荒者队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 毛迅明 should have stopped the shot. Fred Kirkpatrick took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 毛迅明. 毛迅明 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 毛迅明 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Kirkpatrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 毛迅明 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davis Duff in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Tytus Banaszak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 毛迅明 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute 邓帆青 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 苍穹拓荒者队's 毛迅明 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reese Otto in the 44th minute of play. 毛迅明 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Banaszak in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tytus Banaszak in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 毛迅明 saved 苍穹拓荒者队 from getting behind. The 苍穹拓荒者队 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zamalek FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 孔川棋 to make the kick off. Zamalek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 苍穹拓荒者队 the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elin Elin to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the 苍穹拓荒者队 defense, Reese Otto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 毛迅明. The supporters of 苍穹拓荒者队 booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Schukin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 毛迅明 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Banaszak in the 96th minute of the match. Zamalek FC played a much better game than 苍穹拓荒者队 and deserved their victory. The 苍穹拓荒者队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
