Jacek Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Suprs Academia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacek Ptaszek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacek Ptaszek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amílcar Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Suprs Academia fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wang Jun Xi in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wang Jun Xi's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Jacek Ptaszek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Suprs Academia getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Wiliam Queiroz hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Macit Sağıt came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Suprs Academia got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Queiroz. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macit Sağıt in the 63rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacek Ptaszek having to make a save. Jacek Ptaszek made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacek Ptaszek. Suprs Academia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Queiroz in the 81st minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Leiria in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Suprs Academia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
