Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Jakue stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fausto Dolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Dolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. One of El Salvador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ULSAN HD:s goal. Ricardo Zorita went to the wrong direction when 김 옥 was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Marcu Mîțu made a huge save. Moises Fernandino came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcu Mîțu could save by the left post. Wilfredo Jakue scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ULSAN HD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 김 옥 in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that 김 옥 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Zorita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 즙 in the 85th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ULSAN HD's Wilfredo Jakue. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Jakue quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, ULSAN HD's 이 은 got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Jakue's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ULSAN HD fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Salvador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
